Please Note:

Due to the positive response from volunteers, we are able to have two sittings for our year end banquet and will include players and parents.  The first sitting will be at 1:30 or 2:00 and the second sitting will be at 5:30 or 6:00.  More details will be given in the days to come.  In order to best prepare for the banquet we need the total number of players that will be attending.  Please contact your coach or coordinator and let them know if your child will or will not be attending.  Deadline for the player RSVP is May 8th.

Year End Banquet:

The 2012-13 year end banquet will take place 6:30 pm,  Monday, May 20th at the Tilton Bingo Hall.  The banquet will include all players from PreNovice 1 up to Midget, coaches, coordinators, parents of last year players, members of the executive and special guests.  Due to fire regulations there will be no parents at the banquet this year (only the parents of players in their last year).  Players are to be dropped off starting at 6:00.  At 7:30, there will be a parent pickup of all the PreNovice 1, PreNovice 2 and Novice players.

Coaches and Coordinators are asked to contact all members of their team for an RSVP.  We need to have a final head count by May 14th.  Please email
ceebeeshockey@gmail.com with your total number of players that are attending the banquet.

Applications for Male and Female Players of the year are available for download.  They must be passed in to an executive member in a sealed envelope.  This year, female player of the year players in their last year of minor hockey are eligible for the player of the year (amended from previous years).

Applications for volunteer of the year are available for download.  They must be passed in to an executive member in a sealed envelope.  Our organization would not be successful without our many volunteers...so we encourage you to take a moment to recognize someone from our organization.

Jersey's must be passed in to your team coordinator by May 14th.  Coordinators can drop off your team jerseys at the stadium.

Please Note: There will be someone assigned to take pictures at the banquet.  Pictures will be uploaded on the site and you can request for any photo of your child to be sent to you in an email.

Congratulations to our PeeWee B

The Pee Wee B's just finished their year this weekend past at Twin  Rinks in  St. John's.  They finished it with a bang - another gold medal  and the first  Andrew Ryan Banner to come to Hr. Grace!  They won the championship game 3-2 in over time - what a game!!

Along with winning their division of  the  tournament they raised $3502 for the Children's Wish Foundation in a week  and a half.  Quite an accomplishment!

Great job team!!

Proposal Online

Proposed Registration Structure Change

At a recent meeting with CBMHA coaches, the executive introduced a proposal that would see a change from the current registration set up that has been around for the last number of years. Since this proposal is still in its infancy, we would like to offer you an opportunity to read it on our website and attend the semi annual meeting to hear the proposal in detail and in person. This proposal is in no way carved in stone, we'd love to hear your views, concerns, and questions. Once you read the proposal on the website and heard it in person, you'll be able to base your opinion on the facts rather than on rumours.

We're sure that with this new proposal there will be growing pains, and the easiest thing to do is to leave everything as is. But the realization is, we are trying to accommodate two programs, with each one sacrificing to the other. Our House League program is currently sacrificing games to accommodate All Star practices. When this is happening, we have a flawed system to say the least. Change is coming, we just need to be open minded and make sure we do our best to strengthen our association over the next few years as we look forward to hopefully making a jump to a new arena.

Please visit the "2013/14 Tiered Registration Proposal" Tab,  for the entire proposal...

Yours in hockey, CBMHA Executive

Emails:

If you are not receiving emails from CeeBees Minor Hockey, please send along an email with your childs name and division so that you can be entered into the contacts.  Thank you.

Host Teams

January 31, 2012:  All teams hosting a tournament must have their schedule & registration amount approved and a list of teams that will be visiting must be submitted.

If anyone is hosting a tournament please contact Cory Crocker at CCrocker@amherst.ca and he can send out an autographed Danny Cleary hockey stick for you to sell tickets on and make money for your team or organization.  In return all we ask is for you to pass out our brochures for the Danny Cleary Hockey School...which he will send also.

When your team is hosting a tournament, your team coordinator must meet with Maureen Maher for information on the rules and regulations of the hospitality room.  Any team that does not contact Maureen will be issued a fine of $50.  The stadium has new regulations regarding the hospitality room and they request the meeting to make all team coordinators aware of the changes.

Please visit the Fundraising tab for new information!

Please Note: CBMHA will be sanctioning on ice events held by Ceebees Minor hockey registered coaches. The association, in conjunction with Hockey NL, will insure all kids registered with CBMHA as long as it is sanctioned and approved by the President of the association.  All extra hours used outside the regular minor hockey program will be purchased through the stadium. Please notify the President of CBMHA of any extra events to ensure insurance coverage is in place in case of incident. Any events involving minor hockey players and coaches must be presented to CBMHA executive board and approved before pursuing the event.

Important Message for Coaches and Coordinators:

If your team is travelling and are unable to practice, notice has to be given to Paul Squires by the Wednesday before the schedule is posted so that they are not put on the schedule.  If you do not give the proper notice your team will forfeit  those hours on the schedule.  Changes cannot be made on the schedule because teams did not report that they are unavailable.

There are still numerous CeeBees jerseys that have not been returned from last season, please return them at your next practice or game to one of the coaches in your current division.  Thank you for your cooperation.
